1st week reading option 2

I choose this photo for my first reading note because I love the awesome effect that changing the shutter speed has on the appearance of the water. Instead of using a fast shutter speed and trying to catch the water so that it is crisp and clean, I used a slower shutter speed so that it has the "cotton candy" effect. I think that this is the most creative exposure because it gives the effect of the rock being enveloped by the water not just the water going over it. Because the beach rocks and the big rock is in focus I think it looks like a fog that is crawling over the rock and it shall never be seen again. I used a shutter speed of 1/13 so that it can be as low as possible for the water effect yet still not too shaky or blurry in the rocks, and an aperture of 32 to compensate for my shutter speed and this way the rocks will all be in focus. I used my ISO on 100 so that I can have the least pixelated image, and set my white balance on cloudy and I like the cold, eerie effect that it has on the scene.
