Sydnee as Medusa
Medusa was once a beautiful women who lived in Athens. She knew she was beautiful and made sure the rest of the world did too. She would brag of her beautiful hair, and her lovely green eyes, and the curve of her lips. Flaunting her beauty in the face of others. One day the great goddess Athena caught wind of Medusa bregging of her beauty and saying that she was even more beautiful than Athen herself. This enraged Athena and Athena came to her and told her that she would no longer be beautiful, she turned her hair to snakes and cursed her so man would never be able to look upon her face again, and if they do they shall turn to stone. Then Athena banished Medusa to live out eternity with the three blind Gorgon sisters.

Sense of Place Final Project Comments:
ReplyDeleteHey Bri-Bri :)
I like how you focused thematically on the soul of Santorini through the animals who live there and often times eek out an existence in a way that we an't even fathom. Your focusing quotation choked me up. It's amazing how animals can be so loving by nature (sometimes even when when they are mistreated by those who are supposed to take care of them). Nice use of perspective in "Vengeful" and "Euphoria"; repetition of color palette in "Knowing"; quality of light in "Regret"; and composition in "Lonely". Overall, good job on this project :)
I hope that you were able to get your luggage back and that you have safe travels back to MT!!!
